Avante-garde defined is a person or work characterized by nontraditional, aesthetic innovation.  We feel it best describes our interpretation of the clipboard.  We took two full weight pieces of steer hide, finished the edges and combined them handsomely to form the backboard.  Copper rivets secure a heavy duty spring clip to finish this piece.  General use will provide character and patina to the leather.  Your purchase will insure a stylish yet durable alternative to the societal norm and set your notepads apart for years.
